Ladies Missionary Society
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19 NKJV
The Roswell Ladies Missionary Society was established seven decades ago as a ministry organization within the church with the goal of supporting missionaries, both abroad and at home, financially and prayerfully.
At the current time we meet once monthly and support three different missionary efforts in foreign countries:
Jim Harriman, Director of Latin American Ministries of Francis Asbury Society
Jim Works with the Bolivian Evagelical University traveling the country bringing awereness and raising funds to expand the existing clinic on the BEU campus into a larger teaching hospital facility. He also works hard for and on the cattle ranch BEU has acquired as a fundraising project.
Daniel, Georgiana and Elijah Eakins, serving in Romaina with Nexus International.
Daniel and Georgiana minister by assisting churches in Romania, by evangelizing their neighbors and acquaintances and through their music and song writing. All this gives the Romanians the opportunities to hear the gospel in their "heart-language."
John and Mariana Dobrovat, ministering in Romania and Moldova
John and Mariana minister to the elderly, in orphanages, and wherever there is a need. There are many. John preaches and teaches in the churches and at various outreach places.
Herma Bode teaching and helping in Senegal, West Africa
Herma works with children and families in Senegal, West Africa. She works among predominantly with Muslims. Herma teaches the word of god and helps those in need.
