Daughters of Dorcas Women’s Missionary Group

We take our name from Acts 9:36 Now, in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (Greek translation is Dorcas); this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity, which she continually did.

Our mission is from Matthew 25:35-36 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.
Our group began from women that worked and could not attend during the day. Some of us have retired since then, but still have fun serving the Lord helping where He leads us. We support one missionary, John and Mariana that are in Moldovia.
Some of our present tasks are taking care of and serving the church by hosting special events, and cleaning the corners of the church. We have meetings the 4th Saturday of the month at 10:00 am.
All ladies are welcome!
